Version history¶
The following errors were fixed:¶
- Service didn't reconnect to adapter automatically after replugging USB cable (issue #295);
- Trip time sometimes was running very fast (issue #279);
- Range was calculated incorrectly when fuel level went down below specific value (issue #299);
- Main screen UI didn't start on Android 4.4 (issue #285);
- Fixed various small errors.
The following improvements were made:¶
- Implemented a feature to remotely enable and configure application logs by the developer, in order to address issues more quickly (task #294);
- Added an option in the Settings to show system apps in the quick launch shortcuts selection menu (task #286);
- Application was adapted to Android 11 (task #302).
The following functions were added:¶
- A new Media Session based media player control mode was added, which supports most of modern media players, and displays track information on the Main screen (task #296);
- Added an option to add application menu button to the Main screen (task #278);
- Implemented intro screen for first time application setup (task #271).
The following errors were fixed:¶
- Overlay windows didn't work on Android 9 (issue #267);
- Popup windows didn't close after service went to sleep (issue #247);
- Engine related BC sensors sometimes hung (issue #246);
- Fuel range was calculated incorrectly (task #220);
- Fixed various small errors.
The following improvements were made:¶
- For Android versions 4.4 and higher the application UI engine was switched to the native one - Chromium. Users with OS Android 4.4 and higher can remove Crosswalk application after update (if it's not used by other applications in the system) (task #206);
- Service behaviour was adapted to the changes in Android 8 (task #268).
The following functions were added:¶
- Implemented adapter settings support for adapters version 3.0 and higher (task #231).
The following errors were fixed:¶
- Fixed the problem: left block in Climate Menu was hiding after pressing "Auto" button (issue #68);
- Fixed numerous small errors.
The following improvements were made:¶
- By numerous user requests font size in the status bar has been increased, plus icons has been added (task #207).
The following functions were added:¶
- Implemented BC Menu (task #112);
- Implemented stock Settings Menu (task #24);
- Implemented stock Audio Menu (only for CD30/CD30MP3 head-units so far) (task #35).
- The application has been translated into the following languages (tasks #163, #183):
- Spanish,
- Romanian,
- Hungarian,
- Polish;
- Russian, German and Turkish translations have been updated;
The following errors were fixed:¶
- Fixed application crash on launch on Android 6 and upper;
- Fixed PowerAMP player control error on Android 5.0.1 and upper (issue #136);
- Fixed the problem of low fuel warning being always displayed after engine off, regardless of the real fuel level (issue #137);
- Fixed various other errors.

- Climate-Control menu has been reworked.
The following functions were added:¶
- Added option to change position of Status bar from bottom to top (task #162);
- Added option to emulate Back button two times instead of one to close application after reverse gear has been switched off (task #180).

- Problem with navigation menu opening on Android 5 and higher (issue #116);
- Problem with manual switching display mode between day and night (issue #120);

- Fixed error 103 during installation on some devices (issue #114);

- Completely reworked and updated UI, based on CrossWalk WebView;
- Possibility to add up to 6 application shortcuts right to the Main screen for fast launch;
- Possibility to set up all output information as you like - just tap and hold your finger on any element;
- All functionality was moved to this application, you may remove Car Display application;
- Car voltage output was added;
- The Service was translated to German language.
The following errors were fixed:¶
- When Service was connected when EHU is on, EHU icons were not displayed (issue #42).
The following improvements were made:¶
- The application was fully translated into English. Language can be selected in the Settings. Default language is System - the language of the Android OS (task #69);
- EHU and Climate-control popups now can be disabled in the Settings (task #44);
- Changes in the Settings do not require Service restart, they are applied instantly (task #70);
- Main Screen is now being launched/stopped synchroniously with the stock display (if enabled in the Settings) (task #72).
The following functions were added:¶
- User-chosen application launch where reverse gear is switched on, and stop when it's switched off (task #13);
- Control multimedia volume and Android music player using buttons on the steering wheel. For details how to control click here: Player Control (task #14).
The following errors were fixed:¶
- Adapter connection initialization was moved into a background thread - now Android doesn't show "Application not responding" window during initialization (issue #67).

- Night theme was not picked up during Service start (issue #63);
- Trip time was calculated incorrectly, and went faster than real (issue #64).

- Communication protocol between Adapter and Service was reworked - is became more stable and reliable.

- Adapter power state Broadcast Intent was added (task #62).
The following errors were fixed:¶
- Climate-control window was displayed incorrectly after opening "Recent apps" and returning back to the app (issue #11);
- Day/night theme was not switched after Service restart (issue #59).
The following improvements were made:¶
- Automatic connection keep-alive when device screen is on was implemented: if a short-term disconnection from the Adapter happens during Service work, it will automatically try to reconnect until device screen is switched off (task #56).
The following functions were added:¶
- "Residual air conditioning ON" popup window was implemented (task #38);
- Display state Broadcast Intent was added (task #47);
- Service now checks Adapter firmware version and displays an error if it is lower than 110 (task #57).
